CommunityGreat Western Pleasure Ride 2011This years ride was held in near perfect conditions, though a little shower of rain late on Saturday night sent some scurrying for cover. The going was excellent under foot, and the scenery was magnificent. Ben Thompson, of Bests Wines, always manages to come up with tracks through farmland that shows of the best scenery in the district. The lucky winner of the R.M.Williams raffle was Kim Charlton from Ballarat, ex Stawell and one of the hardworking organising committee. Once again the weather held up perfectly. Everybody had a wonderful time. This ride is certainly one of the best orgainised around!.
